I deeply believe in each person’s intrinsic capacity to celebrate their strengths, change what isn’t working in their lives and heal from past wounds. My therapeutic approach is grounded in an abiding interest in hearing and understanding your story, using creative exploration to uncover the past or open up the future, and cultivate greater ease in your body, mind and heart.
I work with individuals, couples and children. My specialization in expressive arts therapy means I sometimes use drama, visual art, sand tray or the body in our work together because sometimes images speak where words cannot. I am especially interested in working with trauma, issues of meaning or purpose and long-standing patterns you are ready to change. In addition to being a therapist I am a long time yoga teacher and bring that perspective to my work.
See my website: www.HeartfireArts.com for further info on workshops and public classes.
